THE title tells all. Scott Nell's production reinvents the drama of Baz Luhrmann's extravaganza Moulin Rouge.
Instead of Nicole Kidman's Satine, Catchy Title Productions gives us Sardine in the lead role with the wonderfully cheeky chorus girls, The Satin Dolls.
Set in true cabaret style, the cast interacts with the audience, providing comic relief.
Both the on and offstage antics of the characters are revealed through the clever use of video projection, song and witty dialogue.
The choreography deserves to be more flamboyant in the finale to match the impact of the medley that borrows from popular music across several eras.
The Roulin Mouge is an audience favourite, yet further work on the over-the-top characters will add punch to an already well-formed show.
