Sexy but not scorching

IT may have been the Latin heart-throb's first performance in Adelaide, but Enrique Iglesias kept his excited fans waiting.

His girlfriend, former tennis player Anna Kournicova had arrived, but it seems Enrique was waiting for a special, loved T-shirt before he could step out on-stage.

When the lights did go up on the hunky performer, so did the estrogen levels as the camera panned slowly up his leather pants all the way to his white woolly skullcap - nice.

Just like his father, Julio, the Madrid-born pop idol is adored by women worldwide and has sold more than 20 million records.

The 28-year-old put on a polished pop performance and worked through his hits including Hero, Rhythm Divine, Addicted and Not in Love in a good-natured, relaxed-style.

He apologised for his English before launching into Spanish song Bailmos (We Dance).

When a white couch was wheeled out, just about every girl in the house was dreaming of getting up there, but Enrique chose a couple to get comfy with in his make-shift ''living room''.

The lucky couple, Anita and Aaron, had a beer, photos and a chat before Aaron joined Enrique in a cover of Knockin' On Heaven's Door.

Even though the show was not sold-out, fans made more than enough noise for one of the sexiest men alive.

Enrique's voice was strong enough and he has three top back-up singers and a tight six-piece band.

All up it was an enjoyable, fun show, that wasn't too sexy, but just hot enough.
