VARIOUS ARTISTS: Rockwiz Duets (Liberation Music)

A lively collection of duets from the SBS music trivia show. Despite a few odd combinations, this is a party mix that is raw, direct and non-stop fun, thanks in part to the ace house band. It's hard to pick highlights from the 19 tracks, but Glenn Tilbrook & Linda Bull (Private Number), Chris Cheney & Chrissy Amphlett (Stray Cat Blues), Deborah Conway & Tex Perkins (Love Hurts) and Dan Kelly & Martha Wainwright (Slave to Love) all sizzle. Sarah McLeod positively rips it up on Highway to Hell, even overpowering Angry Anderson, while Stephen Cummings & Tania Doko do a spine-tingling version of Little Feat's almost-forgotten classic Long Distance Love.
