POWDERFINGER: Fingerprints *** (Universal). Perhaps the drawback to cramming Powderfinger's singles onto one disc is that a dreary saminess is evident. The Queensland band's hits (Pick You Up, My Happiness) stand up alone, but sitting alongside each other a mid-tempo formula emerges. New track Bless My Soul is strong, but versatility is not the 'Finger's strong suit.
