NEIL YOUNG: Greatest Hits **** (Warner/Reprise). All the usual suspects are here and it's fair to say that picking up a copy of Decade would be preferable, but it's hard to fault this collection. Bold move to start with two Crazy Horse epics (Down By the River and Cowgirl in the Sand) instead of a softer option. This might be entry level Neil Young, but it's a worthy glimpse at a journey that's a long way from over.
