OFTEN these remix collections are a pointless exercise, various DJs merely rendering great music unrecognisable. Fortunately this compilation of Motown classics, showcasing many of the usual suspects (Jackson Five, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye) and a couple of surprises (Rare Earth, Undisputed Truth), is tastefully done and retains the rhythmic pocket of those great backing tracks.
