JOEL TURNER: Dream Dealers ** (MGM). The kid who makes beat box noises with his mouth has made his first album. It's a neat party trick but not much else, so it's bolstered by rapping from the Modern Day Poets, which is passable stuff. Joel also does the programming and plays some straight-forward guitar and bass, so there's potential beyond his novelty gimmick.
