This collection of Eminem's greatest hits provides a consistent, largely predictable overview of his career to date. From the brilliant The Way I Am and Stan, to the truly risible Mockingbird and Sing for the Moment, Curtain Call is an exercise in contradictions, with infantile lyrics interspersed with strong social commentary. There's little doubt Eminem is a great rapper with an ear for a strong rock hook, but the genius tag should be saved for his producer, Dr Dre.
