EELS: Blinking Lights and Other Revelations (Vagrant).

EVERY bit as sweeping and ambitious as it sounds, Blinking Lights is a flawed triumph. Eels main man Mark Oliver Everett goes through all the mood swings expected, managing to extract joy from misery. It may be a challenge to get through the 33 tracks, but it's the motherlode for those enamoured with Everett's bleak yet strangely optimistic outlook.
